📦 Does your packaging really maintain the same barrier performance after converting?
This is a question many packaging developers ask themselves, because a material tested as a flat surface and a finished packaging (thermoformed, sealed, etc.) do not always have the same barrier to oxygen. To answer this question accurately, we have upgraded our OX-TRAN 2/22 H equipment: thanks to an adapted measurement cell, we can now measure OTR directly on the final 3D package, rather than only on the flat surface.
🎯 The goal: anticipate the real impact of the converting process on barrier performance before bringing the packaging to market.
