A statement of food contact compliance without GMP…is like a forest without trees!...
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) are too often missing in statements of food contact compliance for paper and board materials. However, it is a criterion required by the framework regulation (EC) no 1935/2004, specified by the dedicated regulation (EC) no 2023/2006 and imposed by the French information Note – Fiche MCDA n°4 from DGCCRF! Paper and board manufacturing industry published several guidelines in order to facilitate their practical application.
