Recover and valorize waste heat streams using high-temperature heat pumps

  • Identify the different technologies and manufacturers of high-temperature heat pumps (HT-HP)
  • Collect information on these technologies (power, temperature range input and output, coefficient of performance, working fluid, operating constraints, footprint, maintenance, price, etc.) and identify the most suitable ones.
  • Define the most relevant heat sources/needs and their characteristics
  • Conduct a techno-economic study of integrating an HT-HP on a paper mill site
  • Provide the necessary elements for decision-making for an investment in an HT-HP
