The little story of the pilot

Gravure printing and paper go back a long way. It began in the heyday of publishing, when it was possible to produce even the largest print runs. Today, the volumes are no longer there, but the story continues along a different path : packaging.
All the expertise developed on specific rotogravure tools is now used to apply this process to functional printing. The CTP has a gravure driver that has been enhanced to meet the requirements of functional printing. This tool still applies colour, but now it also applies functional varnishes to provide sealability, barrier or transparency.

Gravure360 is a pilot press for simulating gravure printing on an industrial scale. Here are its characteristics :
